Preparing for Dumpster Delivery
Make delivery day a little simpler.
Choose a practical position
Select a firm, suitable area with truck access and enough overhead clearance. Look for branches, wires, slopes, and drainage concerns. Tell the rental team about gates and narrow approaches before scheduling.
Clear and protect the area
Move cars, toys, and stored materials away from the approach and placement area. Discuss surface protection if appropriate; boards alone do not guarantee that a driveway cannot be damaged. Keep children and pets away during delivery.
Have a site contact ready
Confirm the address, preferred placement, and an available contact number. Check private community or property management rules beforehand. Avoid changing the placement location on arrival without discussing truck access.
General planning guidance. Confirm current material rules, local requirements, and your agreed rental terms before beginning work.
